Our Trivia Nights have quickly gained a reputation of being enormous fun while supporting a great cause. Grab a bunch of friends and book a table and put your brain to the test to see how much trivia you know.

Unlock the Lachs were honoured this year to be the selected charity to benefit from the 2019 Ladies Game Fishing Day.

Not only a fantastic day out for all those involved at completion we were then presented with a cheque for $4350.

Money desperately needed by many families throughout Townsville.

Our annual event is for you to register to host a Christmas in July.

This is your opportunity to host your own Unlock the Lachs celebration. Dinner party, morning tea, breakfast, lunch or a larger gathering, make Christmas your theme any day in July and all money raised, big or small, benefits our local community. As a registered host, you will receive a Santa sack with an Unlock the Lachs Christmas host shirt, Christmas props and our merchandise to aid with the atmosphere. By hosting this event, everyone wins. You too will benefit from many smiles and happy memories of the occasion. Ho Ho Ho.

We have been blessed to have some courageous and kind fighters choose us to Fight For Your Cause.  Natasha Doyle and Michael Rowan, we hope that the reward and memories you have of your experience fighting for us, is reflected in the smiles and happy memories that your commitment has paid forward to our local inclusive community.

A huge special mention to Mendi Constructions.  Jeff & Natasha Doyle have entwined Lachy’s love with their own and annually benefit us through their Think Pink campaigns.  Thank you.

Put your self to the CHALLENGE

Each year as a group, we endeavor to undertake various physical challenges under the name Unlock the Lachs which raises money for a variety of worthy causes.

We all enjoyed training and participating together in the Magnetic Island to Townsville swim. 8km of ocean water swimming puts us all to the test.

AEIOU Take A Hike

The Bloody Long Walk.  This challenge raises money for Mitochondria which I believe was Lachy’s underlying condition. One day we hope this research will prove it so and be able to assist children with this condition.
